The Rev. Deacon David Rhodes
A “Cradle Episcopalian,” I grew up in Princeton, NJ where I was active as a choir boy and acolyte. I attended University of Pennsylvania, the College of Guam, and am a graduate of Rider University.
USAF veteran and career Surety/Insurance Executive.
I have served in various roles in my service to God at various Episcopal churches; Lay Reader, Eucharistic Minister, Vestry, Treasurer and Church Plant Founder. I served a term as Lay Diocesan Council member.
I entered discernment for the diaconate in 2011, attended the newly formed San Diego Diocesan School for Ministry, graduated in 2015 and I was ordained in February 2015.
