Our New Website!
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.” — Psalm 19:14
Welcome to Grace Notes, the rector’s blog for our new website. I hope you will stay and rest a while.
In music, a grace note is a small, decorative note played before the main note. Also called ornaments, grace notes aren’t technically necessary to a melody. But these small notes add interest, color, texture, and style. Like a perfect frame for a fine painting or the right setting for a beautifully cut gem, grace notes help us hear the melody in a new way, enhancing its special qualities.
My hope is that these short reflections will help gently enhance the special qualities of our common life here at St. Paul’s, highlighting the ways in which we strive to be followers of Jesus in the heart of Woodbury.
The purpose of this new website is to give you a feel for what life is like in our parish - joyful, hopeful, abundant, and welcoming. Our aim is that the new design directs you to the information and resources you need to navigate the many aspects of our church - the people, the programs, the who-what-where-when-and-whys of this community.
The intention behind everything we do at St. Paul’s - including this new website - is to help us all connect better - to each other, to the community we live and serve in, and to the God who made and loves us all.
Mostly, I hope that all we do will help you find a home here.
In faith,
Rev. Tuesday+
